I love when someone comes to me with idea, I had never done before. This lady asked me if I can make cookies for her baby boy Christening. I had never than that before, but I did some cookies with names before, so I said yes too the order.
She asked only a design with white and light blue and the name of the baby boy. So I tried the wet-on-wet paining that makes a nice flower and leaves. It could be nice with pink and rose colors as well for girls, but I like the blue very much. The icing is on a sugar cookie dough, because I do not like to coat gingerbread cookies with royal icing, that just takes away the mild spiciness of the gingerbread.
